SPARTAN FIRE TRUCK CHASSIS WARRANTY SUPPORT
As an authorized Spartan Service Center, we provide warranty support for all Spartan Fire Truck Chassis. The Spartan Chassis Limited Chassis Warranty covers repair or replacement, at the sole discretion of Spartan Chassis, Inc., of any part of the new Spartan chassis (except the engine and transmission) in which a defect in materials or workmanship appears under normal use, where maintenance has been performed as stated in the Owner’s Manual. The engine and transmission are not covered by this Limited Warranty but they are covered by warranties issued from the engine and transmission manufacturers. The original limited warranty is in effect for a period of 36 months from the first owner’s date of purchase. Please contact Spartan Chassis to determine the warrantable period on your specific chassis. Some examples of items not covered under the limited warranty include normal maintenance such as lubrication, batteries, tires, etc.; failure to maintain proper fluid levels; installation of aftermarket devices. It is recommended that the purchaser refer to the Owner’s Manual for a full listing of warrantable and non-warrantable items.

Spartan will need the following information; the Spartan Vehicle Identification Number (can be found above the driver’s sun visor), mileage at time of failure and complete description of the warranty complaint. Many components carry a separate manufacturer’s warranty. The purchaser should check the original component manufacturer’s warranty regarding coverage. Spartan may also ask you for the component model number to properly identify the part(s). The ID numbers may also be found in the original chassis service manuals that were shipped with the chassis when it was new.
