H&W Emergency Vehicles is a regional fire apparatus manufacturer located 15 miles west of Portland in Hillsboro, Oregon and has principally been engaged in producing, selling and servicing emergency vehicles to the Pacific Northwest since 1986. The Company was originally started to maintain, service and refurbish existing fire apparatus and emergency vehicles for fire departments and fire districts. In 1989, at the request of many of their customers, H&W Emergency Vehicles began manufacturing new fire apparatus and emergency vehicles for first responders. H&W operates from a modern 35,000 sq. ft. fully equipped manufacturing facility.

H&W Emergency Vehicles was founded in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1986, relocating to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1997. The founding partners have since retired, however H&W maintains many of the principles the company was originally founded on, such as providing quality products supported by outstanding service support. Peter Adams, one of the founding shareholders, is CEO of the company. Steve Jahn, an associate since 1994, is now a major shareholder as well as President & Chief Operating Officer. Along with our team of outstanding associates, we are building a customer driven company that is committed to serve. H&W employs approximately 30 associates in two states, many of which have been with the company over 10-15 years, providing vast experience and depth in the emergency vehicle industry. Our skilled team is here to assist you in choosing the correct equipment for your agency and making sure it gets built and delivered to respond efficiently to your communities needs. H&W team members are also strongly focused on providing service after delivery, helping to keep your equipment ready to respond. As we look to the past, we are also very excited about a bright future, serving our customers here in the Pacific Northwest and we thank you for the opportunity to do so.

H&W has an established sales and service network throughout the Pacific Northwest, with operations located in Marysville Washington, Hillsboro Oregon and Anchorage, Alaska (service). H&W Emergency Vehicles is dedicated to service and support after the sale, to insure that our customers will return to H&W for all their Fire Apparatus and Emergency Vehicle needs.

H&W Emergency Vehicles manufactures a full line of fire apparatus, including Class A Pumpers, Water Tenders, Quick Attack/RIV units, Walk In & Non Walk In Rescue units, Air, Light & Hazmat & Command Units, outfitting of police, fire and EMS vehicles and a full line of Compressed Air Foam (CAFS) units. We are an authorized OEM manufacturer on all major brands of heavy duty chassis, including Spartan Motors Premium Custom Chassis, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt and Freightliner Commercial Chassis, as well as light duty units on the Ford or GM chassis of your choice.

H&W is also the authorized sales agent and service center for a full line of Fire & EMS Emergency vehicles products from industry experts, including Road Rescue, Inc (Premium Type I, II & III Aid/Medic Units) Wheeled Coach (Type I, II & III Aid/Medic Units), Crimson Fire Apparatus (Aerials & full apparatus line) and Super Vac Mfg.
